Welcome to Morbid Planet’s seven days of Halloween destinations and fun!
To celebrate Halloween, everyone’s favourite morbid day of the year, Morbid Planet is exploring a different city each day and looking at what celebrations, activities and events they offer. We are counting down seven cities and who knows, maybe we will be looking at what your city has to offer next!
Our fifth destination is London located in the United Kingdom.
If you are a Harry Potter fan, you won’t want to miss Hogwarts After Dark at Great Hall in Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.
If you have some extra cash this Halloween, head on over to Warner Bros. Studios. The reason I mention “extra cash” is because this event costs 240£ per person! Their website describes your dinner experience in detail:
Dine on a delicious two-course dinner – think red apples, pumpkins and cauldrons of lollipops – and drinks before grabbing a lantern and exploring Studio Tour after hours, including key sets such as the Forbidden Forest, the Gryffindor common room and Diagon Alley. Just make sure you don’t get caught by a Death Eater during your trip – we’re not quite sure your health insurance will cover that…
It runs October 26 to 28, 2018 only so make sure to book your tickets while you can. You can also pick up a little souvenir from their gift shop too.
If dancing is more your gig, then check out the Halloween Ball at the Mansion. This looks like an epic party!

The location, which is rumoured to be in North West London, will be announced to party goers forty-eight hours before the event. Apparently the venue will have three dance floors, two lounges, an entertainment room and a VIP room. The bars will have 2 for 1 drink specials before 10 p.m. and there will be a professional photographer snapping photos all night. Dressing up is mandatory. There will be costume contest with a grand prize for a flight to New Orleans awarded to the winner.
The event runs on October 27, 2018 and tickets are 36£ for general admission or 750£ for a spot at the VIP table.
If you like night walks, why not take the Original Tour: Haunted London Walk.
The Haunted London Walking Tour departs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m. from the visitor centre located at Trafalgar Square. The last day of the tour for 2018 will be on October 31 and resume April 1, 2019. The tour covers: Theatre Royal, Her Majesty’s Theatre, St James’s Palace, Clarence House, Buckingham Palace, Green Park, Ritz Hotel, Fortnum & Mason, Shepherd Market, Hyde Park Corner and Rose and Crown pub. Tickets are only 5£ so this is an affordable night of fun that most people can afford.
Well, that is it folks. Stay tuned to see where Morbid Planet heads next for some more Halloween goodness!
