My writing career has enabled me to do some traveling in order to attend and cover some events and see some significant vampire sights. I was fortunate to network and meet some great people along the way.
There are Such Things! Vampire Symposium 2015 which as held on October 31, 2015 in Corinth, Texas, United States. I helped organize this event and you can see coverage of the event on Vamped below:

Fourth World Dracula Congress, a two day academic Dracula conference that took place at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. The event was organized by the Transylvanian Society of Dracula

In August 2014, I travelled from Canada to London, England in search of vampires. Well, the Highgate vampire that is. I visited the cemetery and went on a tour and also was able to conduct some research at the British Library.

On March 28, 2015 I travelled to Forks, Washington for the 10 year anniversary of the release of the book Twilight. I interviewed the mayor, a member of their Chamber of Commerce, and an event organizer. I even met their number one fan and stayed in a Twilight themed hotel room.
