Erin Chapman

As a child, Erin was extremely artistic. She experimented with numerous mediums like pottery, crafting, drawing, painting, sculpting and writing. Art was her passion.

Her educational background is in marketing and business and she has 14 years experience in the industry. It wasn’t until later in life, that she changed her focus from visual art to writing. 

Erin is a freelance journalist and researcher. She covers a wide range of topics and is not limited to: business, marketing, health and wellness, the horror genre and her favourite, vampires.

When Erin isn’t writing or designing websites, she is spending time with her two turtles, Watson and Zebbie.

Erin holds the following positions:

  • Co-administrator for Vamped, an online general interest site that covers anything and everything to do with vampires.
  • Editor for Morbid Planet, an online magazine that “explores the horror genre and showcases the extraordinary and mysterious world of dark tourism. We also highlight unique people and macabre things, review films, and cover current events and news.”
  • Editor for The Paleo Penguin an online blog described as “What you will find are paleo recipes, reviews and articles based on my diet with a pinch of non-compliant foods for those special indulgent occasions.”
  • Operations Co-ordinator for the Vampire Studies Association. The mission of the association is, “To establish vampire studies as a multidisciplinary field by promoting, disseminating and publishing contributions to vampire scholarship.”
