Taking on the Highgate Vampire and analyzing Sean Manchester’s claims took a lot of time and effort. The end result was two in depth articles on Vamped. The first one looked at the topographical errors while the second one examined more the events and claims.

Investigating the case put me in contact with report Sandra Harris, the reporter interviewing Manchester that day at the cemetery when things went a little sideways. I also reached out to the Finchley RSPCA for information regarding the dead foxes and managed to get my hands on an article Manchester selectively quoted from, but no one had seen.

The final nail in the coffin was Manchester’s mysterious “nobleman” claim, who yes folks he claims was the vampire. But funny enough, I discovered no such nobleman existed. Does that mean the vampire never existed too?
