A little about me and this site…
Originally when I started this site in January 2014, I had a hard time trying to figure out what the content should be. Having never written before, I was exploring new territory and had no clue what to do.
Over the last four years, I have grown as a person and my online writing has developed thanks to my friend, Anthony Hogg . I toyed with having other sites for different topics, but finally settled on simply posting things about my life and what interests me here.
In 2011, I was inspired to write my first novel. Originally it was an experiment and I wanted to find out if I had what it took to finish the long daunting task. To my surprise, 475 pages later I had my own little fictional world full of vampires.
It’s been gathering dust, and I am finally editing it, which turns out is a grueling task. Once this is done, I will be sending it off to a publisher that I know, so fingers crossed!
Since December 2013, I have worked with Anthony as a co-administrator and writer on Vamped, a general interest vampire online magazine. It’s your one stop shop for vampire news, reviews, interviews, and in-depth investigative exclusives you won’t find on other sites. We pride ourselves on our unique content and fact checking. It gives me a creative outlet to cover Vampires, which I have loved sine I was a kid. Stop by and browse the site. There is something for everyone there.
My latest project is Vampire Classifieds, an online vampire buy and sell community. I wanted to put my marketing skills to the test and build a community that helps people promote their vampire related products.
This lead to the launch of my second site, Horror Classifieds, an online horror buy and sell community. It is the same idea as Vampire Classifieds, it just has a horror spin on it. I have a third one in the works at the moment so stay tuned!
I will be covering food, health and fitness too. I have a bunch of food allergies. It makes it challenging to eat out or just in general. I like to help other people when I can with advice based on experience while providing some resources that will help with your own journey.
Anthony also inspired me to explore Christianity, something I have never really looked at before. I wasn’t brought up with it all in our house. I started going to a local church every so often and reading the bible to see what it is all about.
Other projects are also in the works and I am really excited about what the year will bring.
